World Class - Peridot's Everyday Hero CGC PAT OTCH

New ref sheets! Been trying out new things for ages but never liked the results. Trying it out on my super special boy Covu! The lion is called Boris, Covu has had him for a few years and he's very well loved, as you can see! Missing a tail, an ear and an eye XD

So when I first began volunteering at the shelter around three years ago, I met the most incredible dog and we had this immediate connection that I've never had with a dog before, even with my own. Gah I love this dog so much. He came to the shelter as a traumatised 6 month old pup covered in matts and fleas and cigarette burns because his bastard owners hurt him and never looked after him. He was so naughty and absolutely ferocious with other dogs and men, but after a year the shelter had completely transformed him. I had so much fun with him over the two years and I took him for agility lessons and it was him that got me out of bed every day as I couldn't wait to see him. Well, after almost two years at the shelter, he was rehomed in October 2014 to a family with a man and a dog, which is something you'd never have thought possible a while back! Maaan I cried like a baby when he went but I'm so happy for him. Best dog I've ever met, easily. I think about him all the time and miss him so much. Wish I could have had him! Personality:

Fiercely loyal and protective of the one he holds close, Covu truly is man's best friend. Always keeping a close eye on his best girl Danni, whom he helps as a psychiatric therapy dog, and would do anything for her. For anyone else handling him he is an all round pain in the backside, misbehaving and grumpy, with a resentment of men. However when with his handler Danni, he is completely different - cheerful, calm, obedient and loving, and completely at ease in his surroundings.

History:

Covu was found in a terrible state in a filthy flat; matted fur, riddled with fleas and terrified of people and dogs. He was dog aggressive but after working with him he is now tolerant of dogs.

Favourite Toy:
On the day of his adoption into Peridot Farm, he was taken to the pet shop to choose his own toy, and he came out with a cuddly lion. Years later, this poor lion, Boris, is missing and eye, a tail and an ear, but is still very much loved. 

Quirks:

- Has 5 cigarette burns round his neck, hidden by his thick fur
- Pretends to be cool and collected around strangers but acts like a real goof with those he loves
